Oh, hey there. I’m Kristie, a born and bred California girl with a pretty healthy love of food and formerly schizophrenic diet. I’ve been a picky eater, a meat eater, a vegetarian, a meat eater again, a vegetarian again, and now a mostly vegan. After finally educating myself about what it meant to eat animals, I decided that eliminating as many animal products from my life as possible – from omelettes to leather boots – was better for both my physical and mental well being.
Throughout my ever evolving dietary adventures, my love for cooking and experimenting in the kitchen has remained constant. Time spent creating your own meals – even if you burn the heck out of something – is time well spent in my opinion. I hope you’ll check in every now and then and be inspired to explore the wide world of plant-based eats with me. Full disclosure, I’m cutting myself some slack, because full on veganism is just plain hard, especially for someone who loves melty cheese as much as me. Can we all just hold hands and agree that vegan pizza is not pizza, mmmkay?
